Tanya Schwartzman
Organist
We are delighted to introduce Tanya Schwartzman, the esteemed church organist at the First Baptist Church of Sharon. With an impressive tenure of 32 years, Tanya has become an integral part of our church family, enriching our worship services, holidays, weddings, and funerals with her exceptional musical talents.
Tanya's journey with our church began in a unique way. After immigrating from the USSR, she found herself in Italy, awaiting her entrance visa to the United States. During this transitional period, Tanya's passion for music led her to the Baptist Church in Italy, where she first began serving as a church organist. Little did she know that this experience would lay the foundation for her remarkable career as a musician and teacher.
Over the years, Tanya has not only filled our church with the beautiful sounds of her piano and organ playing but has also become a renowned music teacher. Her dedication to sharing the joy of music has touched the lives of countless church members and their children. Tanya is a founder and long-serving Music Director of the Sharon Music Academy and has been inspiring and nurturing budding musicians of all ages.
Tanya Schwartzman's unwavering commitment to our church community, combined with her exceptional musical talent and dedication to teaching, has made her an irreplaceable figure in our church's history. We are immensely grateful for her 32 years of service and look forward to many more years of experiencing the transformative power of music through her remarkable skills.
