Join us to celebrate that Christ is Risen indeed at 10:30 am. Our celebratory service will be led by Minister Monica Paige. 

Monica Paige of Providence, RI is an innovative educator, and an inspiring faith leader who builds bridges across several communities to meet the need.  She encourages people to live in the power and joy of the Lord in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to love one another.  

Monica is an Associate Minister of Morning Star Baptist Church, MA where she serves as a Worship and Transformations leader to teach fundamentals of Christianity and develop one to become God’s masterpiece.  She intercedes in prayer with Boston Healing Room, Institute of Healing and Trauma, local Christian Radio and a Virtual Space for Grace for Teachers that she founded. She serves as Scholarship Chair on the Ministers Alliance of RI. Prior, she coordinated Spiritual Growth Retreats for Clergy Women United, of Boston’s Black Ministerial Alliance/Ten Point Coalition, MA and American Baptist Women of RI. In the classroom, Monica integrates art & music performance, history and technology into basic subjects to engage them. She instills in all learners to believe “you can be anything you set your mind to” so “let your light so shine.”   

Monica is a certified K-12 School Administrator with a Masters of Education in Administration, from the University of RI, and a Teacher with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications/Theatre-Elementary Education with a Bilingual Endorsement from Rhode Island College. She was baptized together with her mother and sisters at the Historic Congdon St. Baptist Church of Providence, RI. On fire for the Lord, she transitioned from community service to faith-based ministry to fulfill her call. She is a seminary graduate of Boston Christian Academy School of Practical Ministry, attends Clergy Training Institute Theological University, RI, and is a licensed clergy and candidate for Ordination within American Baptists-USA. Monica enjoys nature walks, oceans, dance, and singing in gospel choirs.
