Praise isn’t a reaction. It’s a stance.  The Israelites didn’t wait for perfect conditions. They praised loudly, boldly, and publicly because they trusted who God is, not just what He was doing in the moment. Their praise was rooted in covenant, not circumstance.

When life feels harsh or silent, that’s often the moment praise becomes the most meaningful. Not because everything is good, but because God is still good. His promises don’t expire. His mercy doesn’t run out. His grace doesn’t depend on how we feel today.

And that last line you shared — “What God starts, God finishes” — that’s the anchor. Praise becomes an act of agreement with God’s faithfulness, even before you see the outcome.
